Fall Fun

It is a ton of fun spending fall with Ben! It’s my favorite season, what with the leaves changing and the crispness in the air. We started off the fall fun with a trip to Kentucky to visit with Devan and Ryan. While there, we went to an awesome pumpkin patch where we rode on a tractor, picked out a couple of different varieties of pumpkins, ate apple cider donuts and drank cider. Kentucky is really pretty this time of year and Dev and Ryan have some awesome trees on their property. I took a run while there too so I could enjoy the trees and hills.

We also pumpkin patched it up with my mom at The Great Pumpkin Patch in Arthur, IL. This place was AWESOME. Best pumpkin patch we’ve ever seen, hands down. There were pumpkins everywhere and in every iteration. This place is run by the Amish and is so fabulous it was even featured in Martha Stewart Living. Not only was there pumpkin art all over the place, there were so many different squash varieties, it was unreal. Plus, they were cheap and dogs are allowed. Also: pumpkin ice cream.
